Sunscreen ApplicationPlease apply sunscreen to your child before coming to camp, even on days where you think they may not need it as the weather can change quickly. Please also pack sunscreen in your child's backpack so that instructors can re-apply sunscreen, if requested. All-day campers re-apply sunscreen over lunch.

Liability WaiverBy registering with Pedalheads, the parent/guardian of the registered camper(s) on their own behalf and on behalf of the camper(s) hereby agrees that Pedalheads will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur, however caused, whether negligently or intentionally, and agrees to release and hold harmless all instructors, staff, volunteers, and sponsors from all claims or damages without limitation which may arise as a result of/or by reason of such accident or loss.

Photo Permission PolicyWe like to cherish the fond memories and exciting moments at Pedalheads; therefore, we may occasionally hire professional photographers to capture the magic at our pools or camp locations. If your child is present during one of our photo shoots, the manager or supervisor may approach you with a Photo Permission form to be reviewed and signed. With your consent, your child may even be featured on our website or in promotional materials!

Behaviour Management PolicyPedalheads believes that praise and positive reinforcement are effective methods of teaching and behavior management of children. When children receive positive and understanding interactions from adults and others, they develop good self-concepts, problem-solving abilities, and self-discipline. Employees are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a respectful and professional manner when working with children and interacting with parents.

Air Quality PolicyCamps run as scheduled whenever possible We will operate camps as scheduled to help you avoid rearranging your obligations. We may limit activities based on conditions, but we will care for your child. When necessary, we will have additional staff on hand to provide extra assistance. Safety always comes first! We make decisions based on what’s best for our campers and staff based on the recommended guidelines from Canadian and American health agencies.

Weather PolicyAll camps and lessons run rain or shine; therefore, we do not refund or credit for classes missed by choice due to weather. All children should come to camp with weather-appropriate clothing and related gear. If extreme weather jeopardizes the safety of children or employees in any way, the programs may hold off on specific activities until conditions improve. The decision to cancel programs due to potentially hazardous weather are made in consultation with regional managers and local weather forecasts or advisories.

Child Protection PolicyNo matter which of our programs your children are enrolled in, their safety is our number one priority! We'll do everything in our power to protect all children from any potential harm. We reserve the right to dismiss any child from a program that intentionally harms others, brings a weapon to the program, vandalizes property, or displays other extreme behavior. In these instances, no refund is issued. In matters of inappropriate behavior, parents are notified verbally and/or in writing with a course of action.

Bike Bathroom PolicyAll campers must be fully potty trained and require no bathroom assistance in order to participate in our camps. Should your child require assistance, we kindly always ask for a parent or guardian to stay on-site to assist your child as needed. It's not permitted for a staff member to enter a stall with a camper. For your child's safety, children are never sent to the bathroom unattended, nor do we allow an instructor to take children to the bathroom by themselves.

Swim Changeroom PolicyChildren six and under are welcome to change in the same gender changeroom as their parent; women can take their boys into the women's changeroom, and men can take their girls into the men's changeroom. When a child is 7 or older, they must go into their same gendered changeroom alone or with their parent into the parents gendered bathroom. For example, a mother with her 4 year old son will bring him into the womens changeroom.

Missed Lesson Policy - SwimWe are happy to issue one missed lesson per set, per child for reasons due to illness/injury. Any further missed lessons require medical documentation. We do not offer make up lessons and we cannot issue credit for scheduling conflicts or vacations.

Promo Code and Giftcard PolicyOur customers must apply promo codes and Giftcards at the time of registration. We cannot retroactively apply Promo Codes, therefore we cannot issue refunds or credits after the registration has been made.
