Why do we teach two right-hand signals?
For our introductory road-riding classes, we teach more intuitive, point-where-you-are-going-to-turn hand signal. We do introduce the traditional right-hand signal (left arm out, elbow to the ground and hand to the sky) in more advanced road-riding classes. Both signals are commonly accepted under cycling safety guidelines.
